Step 1: Complete your registration form

My examination board is Cambridge International Examinations (CIE)

You will need to complete your registration form first. This form is available once the exams session opens for registration.

Register by downloading the Cambridge International Examinations form below, for IGCSEs or GCE O-/AS-/A-levels. This form is available once the exams session opens for registration.

When you have completed the application form, please remember to print your form and sign and date the Declaration.

Step 2: Pay for your exam

You will find the fees for all exams in the relevant price list document below. Your application will not be processed until you have paid for your exams.

You can pay via a certified cheque addressed to  the British Council British Council customer services team.


Each examination board has a normal registration stage for each exam session. You may still be able to register for exams after this date, but you will have to pay a penalty fee. You can find more information about late registration penalty fees through the British Council office.

Step 3: Submit your registration form

The final step is to submit your application to the British Council office in Siyahia, Tripoli. 

To do this, you will need:

  1. Your completed and signed registration form. Please keep a photocopy of this form for your records. 
  2. One recent colour passport-size photographs. These must be identical and taken within the past three months. 
  3. A clear photocopy of your valid passport 
  4. Book an appointment through before submitting your application form and the required registration documents at the British Council registration office in the Siyahia
  5. Registration fee for exams

Please note that you or someone you authorise can submit your application  at the Exams registration office in Siyahiha if you have an appointment and have all the required document 

Step 4: Registration complete

You have successfully registered for school exams with the British Council.

You will receive your Statement of Entry and information about your examination venues approximately three weeks before your exams.


Download the withdrawal and refunds form if you wish to cancel a subject. For amendments please download the amendment form below and submit it to the British Council customer service team. Please note there will be service charge depending on the registration stage at the time of request for this service.
