The British Council has reviewed the delivery of Cambridge school examinations in Libya.
As part of a transition to a smaller, more focused operational model centred on computer-delivered services, it has been agreed that the British Council will phase out the delivery of Cambridge school examinations in Libya.
Exam Sessions in 2026
· October/November 2026: Available only for candidates needing to re-sit subjects from the May/June session.
· After the October/November 2026 session, the British Council will no longer deliver Cambridge school examinations in Libya.
Support for Candidates
The British Council and Cambridge are working closely to support all affected learners, including providing guidance on alternative arrangements such as accessing Cambridge examinations through approved centres in other locations where feasible.
